Within Creede city limits, you’ll need to acquire water & sewer service from the City of Creede at (719-) 658-2276, www.creedetownhall.com. In Mountain Valley Estates, you’ll need to contact Deep Creek Water & Sanitation District at (719-) 658-0888. Other residences in the County typically have their own well & septic system.

Propane/Natural Gas

Three companies provide propane in the Creede Area:

• AmeriGas (719-) 589-2545, www.amerigas.com.

Natural gas is not currently available in our area. Please keep this in mind especially when purchasing appliances.

Trash & Recycling

Curbside trash service and recyclying pickup is available through MDS Waste & Recycle , (719-) 658-3060 www.mdswasteandrecycle.com. Public dumping is prohibited and non-visitors should get residential trash service.

Television

There is no local cable service in our area, but satellite service is available through DirectTV, (855-) 900-3473, www.directtv.com or Dish (888-) 922-0896, www.dish.com. Fiber Optic internet service is ideal for streaming television providers.

Telephone

Land lines are provided by Ciello powered by SLVREC, (719-) 852-3538, www.ciello.com, CenturyLink, (855-)637-9528, www.centurylink.com, or Verizon, (800-) 837-4966, www.verizon.com.

Cellular Telephone Service

Verizon Wireless provides the most consistent coverage throughout town and most of the river valley. Coverage isn’t available in the canyon between Creede and South Fork, or past North Clear Creek Falls going towards Lake City. AT&T users have limitied roaming access, and users of other services report various availability.

Mail/Delivery Services

• The Creede Post Office (USPS) is located on Main Street, in the middle of Downtown (10 S Main St, 719-658-2615)
• UPS delivers daily. Drop-offs can be made at the Creede Visitor Center/Chamber.
